Social Media Can Get Stressful. Here’s How to Keep Your Chill!

Social media can be a lot of fun, but it can also be stressful.
If you're feeling overwhelmed by the pressure to post perfect pictures and videos, or if you just need a break from it all, here are some easy ways to de-stress your social media habits…
Schedule your posts in advance so that you're not always thinking about them when you're on social media. This will save you from constantly checking and reposting things, so you can focus on more important things—like getting ready for work!
Be selective about what you post. Make sure that everything is relevant to your brand and the people who follow it. Don't post anything just because it's funny or "interesting," or because someone said so—only share content that's useful or informative for your followers (and their friends). The more focused your content is, the more effective it will be!
Follow other brands! Or even better: start following other people! When we see what our favorite brands are up to—and how they do things differently than we do—it makes us appreciate them even more and want to keep supporting them through our purchases or subscriptions. And when we see other people doing cool things online (like promoting
Take a mediation break from posting
If you've ever seen a picture of a person meditating, you might be thinking to yourself, "I can't imagine doing that."
Well, this is for you. Because we believe in the power of meditation, and we want everyone to know about it. It's not just for monks and yogis—it's for all of us! And if you're looking for a new way to unwind after a stressful day on social media, look no further than this simple technique:
Find a quiet place where you won't be interrupted by any distractions (like your phone or other people). Sit down comfortably with your back straight and your feet flat on the floor. Close your eyes and take deep breaths through your nose. Try to focus on nothing but the sensation of air coming in and out of your nostrils as you inhale and exhale with intention.
If thoughts come up while you're meditating, don't worry about them—just let them go by without engaging with them or trying to stop them from happening. Your mind will wander eventually, but it's okay! Just keep breathing deeply until you feel relaxed again.
This simple exercise can help calm your mind after a day spent scrolling through Instagram.
Put down your phone and go for a run!
I am a runner. I've been running for as long as I can remember, and it's always been my favorite way to get exercise. But recently, I've noticed that there's something missing from my run experience.
I used to love going for a run because it gave me time to clear my head and think about what was going on in my life. But lately, when I go for a run, all I think about is the notifications on my phone! And then I get frustrated because I can't check them—it's too dangerous while running!
So instead of checking my phone while running, why not just put it down? It sounds like such a simple solution, but it really works! Now when I go for a run, I don't have any distractions keeping me from fully enjoying being outside and getting some exercise. No more stopping at every mailbox or telephone pole just to check if any new messages came in; no more worrying about whether or not someone wants to meet up with me later this afternoon (because they'll text me when they're ready). All of those distractions are gone now that they're not staring back at me from my phone screen!
There’s nothing better than a THC cartridge to help you chill
It’s tough to be a social media user. We all have our own ways of dealing with the stress of social media, but there’s something to be said for trying something new.
That’s why we wanted to talk about THC cartridges. They are the perfect way to chill out after a stressful day of scrolling through Facebook and Instagram.
So what is a THC cartridge? It’s pretty simple: it’s a device that allows you to inhale marijuana vapor from your favorite strains in a small handheld device. The vaporizer heats up the cannabis oil or wax and transforms it into an inhalable vapor that you can then enjoy on your own terms.
The great thing about these devices is that they provide an easy way for smokers and non-smokers alike to enjoy cannabis without having to worry about the stigma associated with smoking pot. This is especially important for those who want to try out marijuana but don't want to do so at home, where other people might find out about their new hobby!
In addition, THC cartridges are discreet and portable, so you can take them anywhere! You can even use them while flying or driving, because they don't emit any smoke or smell like traditional pipes do - just cool fresh vapor. If you aren’t big on vaping then another great option are THC pills.
Delete your social media account
It's time.
I know, I know. It feels like you just got on Instagram and now it's been a year. You're an active user on Facebook, and you've been on Twitter for years.
You love your followers and the conversations you have with them every day. But maybe it's time to delete your social media account.
Here's why:
You're not even reading the comments anymore. You know who does? Your followers—the ones who are actually interested in what you have to say, who want to engage with your posts (or at least be entertained by them). And those people are going to miss out on your content if you don't post it somewhere else!
You can't find anything interesting to post. Maybe it's time for a break from social media for a while so that when you come back, you'll have something new and exciting to share with the world instead of just rehashing old news or posting pictures of food that has no relation to anything else going on in your life (it happens).
Now keep your chill!
